Why we built this tool

If you’ve ever spent hours on LinkedIn, Indeed, or Glassdoor applying to hundreds of jobs without hearing back, you’re not alone. Many of those listings are outdated, duplicated, or never meant for real applicants to begin with.

The RemoteWorkHunter Job Finder was created to change that. It helps you go straight to the source, the actual company websites that are actively recruiting for the role you want, in the location you choose. With just one search, you’ll see a list of live Google entries showing companies hiring for your desired position, without all the job board clutter.

In simple terms, this tool gives you access to the same kind of data that major job boards like Indeed or Glassdoor use behind the scenes to find jobs. The difference is, we’re giving that power back to you, the job seeker. Those platforms profit from keeping you on their site; we want to help you move faster and smarter toward real opportunities.

What’s next, building the full system

This version of the tool is just the beginning, what we call the “Finding Phase.” Between now and December 31st, we’re testing this phase publicly and collecting feedback. Our long-term goal is to build a complete system that helps applicants at every stage of their job search.

Here’s what’s coming next:

  • Display detailed job info, role descriptions, company names, and direct application links.

We’re still early, but every bit of feedback helps us shape a better tool for job seekers across Africa and beyond.
